Thank you for submitting your event information to Entertainment Fort Smith Magazine.
Please read our instructions carefully to complete your submission correctly. We have tried to make it simple!

Your submission is subject to editing and publication is subject to editorial approval.

Approved events will all appear in the online calendar at www.efortsmith.com.
To be included in Entertainment Fort Smith Magazine, events must be submitted by this deadline: The 10th of the month preceding the publication deadline. For example: An Oct. 26 event must be submitted by Sept. 10 in order to appear in the magazine.

If you are entering your event too late for print publication, please be aware that it will be included in the online calendar,
which is also used by hundreds of local readers, daily.

Some of the information we ask you to provide is required.
Your event will not reach us if you do not enter information in a required field. Required Fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
If you do not enter information in a required field, you will be prompted to return and enter information.

*First & Last Name: This name will not appear in print or online.
To include a contact name for publication, include it in the "Event Description Box."

Event Information for Publication:

 *Start Date: (mm/dd/yy) For one-day events, enter this date only.
End Date: (mm/dd/yy) For multi-day events, enter the end date as well.
*Start Time:
Use this style: 10 a.m. NOT 10:00 a.m.
If applicable, you can use words like Noon, Midnight, All Day, or Dusk.
If event ends at a specific time, use this style: 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
If two pertinent start times, use this style: 10 a.m. sign-up; 11 a.m. race begins.
If multi-day, multi-time event, put details in Event Description box below and put See Daily Schedule in above Start Time field.

The next text box is for the descriptive paragraph about your event, only.

Please do not repeat the start time or date (you already submitted them above).
Do not put the event location, address, city and state here. There are boxes for those, below.

Describe the event and include the name of the presenting organization and organization the event benefits (if applicable).

There is a box below for the "official" phone number of the event. If helpful to readers, also include in this paragraph any other person's name or organization name and number that readers should contact for more information.

Please note if minors are prohibited from attending by including "Must be 21 to attend."

At the end of the description, include admission or ticket prices and where tickets are available.

For a multi-day event, enter the information this way:

Example – Festival begins with a 7 p.m. Friday night concert. Saturday's events begin at 8 a.m. with performance times on the main stage at noon, 2 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Example – The play's curtain times are Aug. 6, 2 p.m.; Aug. 7-8, 8 p.m., Aug. 9, 2 p.m.; Aug. 10, 8 p.m.
(Do not make a separate entry for each day of performance.)

Be brief. Write in complete sentences. Your submission will be edited before it appears online or in print. You may refer to our online or print magazine's calendar and follow the general style of calendar of events entries. Please do not use all caps.

Now is a good time to re-read your description and proof for errors before proceeding.

*Event Address: Please look up and provide the correct street address or a simple direction such as "8 miles north of Van Buren on Hwy. 59" if no number and street name apply.

Event Website:: www.example.com not "http://www.example.com" You may submit the official website of your organization or of the ticket outlet if your event does not have a website.
