Easy painted pumpkins for fall decoration

Follow these easy instructions for painted pumpkins:

Candy Corn Pumpkin


Supplies:  Masking tape and white and yellow craft paint.

 

Assemble: Tape off the top and bottom sections. Paint the top white and the bottom yellow. Leave center section unpainted.

 

 

Frankenstein Pumpkin


Supplies: Green, black and white craft paint, bolts for neck and two googly eyes.

 

Assemble: Mark a zigzag around the top of the pumpkin for hair and paint black.  Paint the remaining section green. Paint a large, black oval for his mouth and add lines of white paint for teeth. Let paint dry before adding details. Use a black marker to make “stitches” and add the googly eyes and bolts.

 

 

Polka Dot Pumpkin


Supplies: Black craft paint and large, round stickers or circles cut from adhesive paper.

 

Assemble: Place varied sized stickers on the pumpkin and paint it black. Carefully remove the stickers after paint is completely dry.

 

 

Caterpillar Pumpkins


Supplies: Three to five small pie pumpkins, two pipe cleaners, round stickers, two googly eyes, green craft paint and black marker.

 

Assemble: Paint the pumpkins green. When paint is dry, add stickers to pumpkin. Wrap the pipe cleaners around a pencil to curl. Use a screwdriver to make two holes in the top of the largest pumpkin for the pipe cleaners. Add googly eyes and use the black marker to draw a smile.
