Ben Geren Youth Golf Academy Summer Session I
This Golf Academy offers age-appropriate golf activities and lessons for kids in the age groups of 5-7, 8-10 and 11-16 and a LPGA Girls Golf class, too. Classes meet two times per week for a total of 8 classes. Some classes require parents to participate with younger children. $75 for all 8 classes. All of the academy’s programs are conducted to build up the confidence, character and mental and physical skills of youngsters who want to learn the game of a lifetime. Times vary. UAFS will host two camps, a Little Lions Camp for grades K-6 and an Elite Overnight Camp for grades 7-12 at the Stubblefield Center.
Campers will learn under a program led by outstanding UAFS Lady Lions head coach Jane Sargent, who has a record of turning a fledgling program into a regional power and national contender on the junior college level and now NCAA Division II level.
June 6-8 The Little Lions Camp 9 a.m.-noon each day. $100
June 8-10 Elite Camp Grades 7-12 Five different sessions.
$175 for commuter campers or $200 for overnight campers
