This will be the 2nd in the series "Gaining Insight into Genetics" presented by the St. John's Mind Stretchers small connections group. Dr. Becky Williamson, an associate professor of biology at UAFS will be our informed lecturer of "What Does Epigenetics Have to Do with Cancer Treatment?" The informal lectures open with topic related snacks and are followed by the lecture and an open question and answer period. The St. John's sponsored event is free and designed for to expand our knowledge and viewpoints on various topics throughout the year. Bring your mind on a higher level and participate in the Q&A following the talk. St. John's welcomes all and is willing to consider the hard questions.
The 3rd part in our "Genetics Series" will be at 6:00pm March 21, presented by Dr. Brandy Ree, UAFS and the topic is "A Mission to Teach Undergraduates Biology".
