Join Danny Vekas for an opportunity to awaken your fatigued fascia, your tired tendons and your lounging ligaments. We are going to activate the connective tissue in your spine, hips and hamstrings in a challenge by choice manner. Through Yin yoga methods I will guide you to your edge with gravity based long held asanas. Time and reduced mobility has shortened our connective tissues -- thus, time and gravity is what we will use to begin the lengthening process. You will receive tools for your yoga toolbox to begin using right away in your connective tissue stretching process. Yin yoga is the complement to all other active physical or Yang activity. Slow, methodical and measured versus quick, spontaneous and dynamic. Your heart rate will most likely not climb above resting, as a matter of fact if you wear your fit bit or other activity monitor, it may very well indicate that you were sleeping during the event. You will be challenged to reach for but not cross your edge, the edge of discomfort and pain. Each individual is different. Different from side to side, day to day and from other participants, so there is to be no competition or judgment. Accepting your body and mindset where it is now is key to being present and understanding your potential. Call to register.
