April 2, 2017
5:30 p.m.

In preparation for their upcoming May tour of Northern Ireland, John Brown University’s Cathedral Choir will perform in concert at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The choir, comprised of 68 students from 15 states and four countries will sing pieces ranging from the early 17th century to recent compositions. Audiences will hear many different styles of music, from Jakob Handl (Gallus’) composition “Exultate Justi in Domino” to the rousing spiritual “Witness” composed by Jack Halloran. Other pieces include “What Wondrous Love is This” by Robert Scholz and a beautiful original composition by Zack Stanton, “The Beatitudes”. An offering will be taken for the travel costs of the choir’s tour/missions trip to Ireland.
