Grab your Fedora hat and flipflops, the Fort Smith Children’s Emergency Shelter is celebrating its 5th Annual Havana Nights at the Fort Smith Riverfront Park and Amphitheater. Cuban inspired, Havana Nights will feature favorites like hand-rolled cigars, Cuban cuisine, bourbon and beer tasting, and the most thrilling live auction in town. “Best of Live” will also return this year, giving one winning guest the opportunity to pick their live auction item of choice for only $100. “Party with a Purpose” and support a child in need at the Children’s Emergency Shelter, Havana Nights! 100% of the proceeds benefit the Children’s Emergency Shelter and the over 300 abused and neglected children they serve each year. “Best of Live” tickets and early silent auction bidding will be available prior to Havana Nights via the CES website, childrensemergencyshelter.org. The Fort Smith Children’s Emergency Shelter provides a safe and structured, home-like environment to area children in crisis, ages 6-17 who have been removed from their home by the Department of Human Services due to neglect and/or abuse. Serving over 300 children each year, part of the CES mission is to allow kids in crisis the opportunity to just be kids.
