National Night Out-Crawford County

National Night Out enhances the partnership between law enforcement and the community under positive circumstances. Gathering at Van Buren High School will be multiple agencies: Van Buren, Mulberry, Alma and Cedarville police departments; Mountainburg police and K9 unit; Arkansas Highway Patrol State Troop H and Fort Chaffee military police. Representatives with the FBI, US Marshals, Dyer and Kibler police departments and fire departments from City of Van Buren and Cedarville-Dyer will be joined by volunteer fire departments, Crawford County Search and Rescue, Medical Reserve Corps, Arkansas Game & Fish and Arkansas Forestry officer. Emergency medical services and an Air Evac helicopter will be participating. The public can enjoy games, bounce arounds, face painting, free hot dogs, water, snow cones and popcorn while supplies last. Organizations such as CASA, True Refuge, DHS, Diva Dance Studio, Pawzatively Canine, and Almost Home Dog Shelter, Fort Smith Boxing, Girl Scout Troop 4141, Morgan Nick Foundation, VB Pointer Dog, 501st Legion-Diamond Garrison of AR.VB Housing Authority, United Way, Car Seat Safety FS, Alma & VB Boys & Girls Clubs will attend. Crawford County Search and Rescue will have all of their equipment out to show: boats, trailers, ATVs, etc. Fingerprinting will be available.

Admission: Free, donations encouraged.
