Authors in the Afternoon with Larry Rogers

Fort Smith author Larry Rogers will appear at the Fort Smith Public Library to promote and sign copies new book of poetry, Live Free or Croak The book is a full-length collection of poems that centers on the author's childhood spent growing up in a potting shed trailer in the piney woods of west central Arkansas. The book also includes several poems related to Rogers' experiences in Vietnam. Rogers is a poet/singer-songwriter. His poems have been published in dozens of the finest literary journals in the United States. Songs he's written have been published by some of the better-known names in the music industry. He lives with his wife, Judy, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They have two grown children, Lily and Hank. Copies of Live Free or Croak will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.
