August Gallery Opening

Join the Center for Art and Education in welcoming Jane Hartfield and Company to the gallery in August. Jane is joined in this show by Gail Bradney, Candace Berry, Teresa Schlabach, and Michael Rowland. These talented fiber artist use fabric and fibers to create textural pieces that stimulate the viewer to want to touch and experience the art. These artists each bring a different style and view point to fiber art that blends into a cohesive experience. The studio gallery will be filled with the Father Daughter duo of Donny and Danielle Gregory. Donny Gregory is a veteran of the US Air Force and was raised outside of Buffalo NY. He has been drawing and painting since he was a teenager. He has always had an interest in muscle cars or really just about any type of car. He paints in oil and does pencil sketches as well. Danielle Gregory is an Art Education major at Arkansas Tech and will be entering her senior year this fall. Danielle developed a passion for art during her time in Van Buren Schools. Now she wants to share that passion with students of her own.
