Celebrate the Birthday of Judge Isaac C. Parker

Celebrate the birthday of Judge Isaac C. Parker with birthday cake in the soda fountain at the Fort Smith Museum of History. Floyd and Sue Robison will portray Judge and Mrs. Isaac C. Parker and present programs on the Parker's time in Fort Smith and their roles as community leaders. The programs are scheduled for 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. at the second floor courtroom exhibit. The Robisons have researched the Parkers extensively. Appointed by President Ulysses S. Grant in 1875, Isaac Parker began his famous tenure as Federal Judge for the Western District of Arkansas, a post he would hold until his death in 1896. Celebrate the birthday of Fort Smith’s famous judge and his interesting wife, who helped to create important Fort Smith institutions. 

Admission: Museum admission: $7 adults, $5 veterans and military, $2 children, under age 6 are free.
