40th Birthday Bash and 13th Annual Archaeology DayMay 12, 2018
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
A free day to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the first and only prehistoric, Native American, archaeological site it Oklahoma open to the public. Archaeologists will be on hand to identify collections, flintknappers will be showing visitors how stone tools were made, and lectures will talk about the past in this region. A sandbox for children will have treasures to find. There will be a guided tour at 2 p.m.
