August 5, 2018
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Center for Art & Education is pleased to present the newest art exhibit by John Brown University Alumni office and Art Department faculty. Their work covers a variety of media including Digital Media Art, Printmaking, Photography, Graphic Design, drawing and oil painting. Their combined works will take you on a journey that may explore and document architectural decay or that reflects an environment’s unique characteristics to works that tell a story and may return the viewer back to a specific moment in time evoking memories of their own family’s past to an interpretation of a beautiful native Arkansas landscape through the expressive use of color. In the Studio Gallery, Greg Gunnels and Laura Hopkins present their exhibition ?k?l?k t?k. These two very busy artists have come together with a broad and diverse range of ideas and styles of art. Inspiration for their pieces come from their daily experiences. One piece could be built on a recent project at work while the next is based on an object picked up in an exotic location or at a local garage sale. Anything and everything is a source of inspiration in this truly eclectic show. Light refreshments and music. Exhibition continues through August 24th. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. NOTE TO EDITOR: WILL SEND A VARIETY OF ARTWORK IMAGES FROM JBU FACULTY AND THE STUDIO GALLERY ARTISTS FOR YOU TO SELECT FROM.
