Murder and Mayhem Haunted Trolley Tour and DinnerSeptember 14, 2018
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Judge and Mrs. Isaac C. Parker, portrayed by Floyd and Sue Robison, narrate the tour along with Debbie Carney as Julia Bourland, Marcus Woodward as a U. S. Deputy Marshal and a host of re-enactors offering surprises along the way. The popular Murder and Mayhem Progressive Dinner tours have expanded the thrill again this year by including two of the most popular historic venues in the Belle Grove District, The Bonneville House and The Clayton House. New this year is a stop at 21 West End in downtown Fort Smith, formerly known as the Hole in Wall Saloon. The tour begins at the Fort Smith Museum of History for drinks, appetizers, ghost stories and a peek at haunted areas of the museum. As the trolley bus winds its way through downtown Fort Smith, it will stop at The Bonneville House for an elegant dinner and then continue on through the Belle Grove Historic District to make another stop at The Clayton House for an exquisite dessert followed by an after-dinner drink at 21 West End and the fascinating story of the Hole in the Wall Saloon. The regular Murder and Mayhem Haunted Trolley tours begin at the Fort Smith Museum of History with complimentary drinks, appetizers and ghost stories. As the trolley bus proceeds through downtown and the historic district, riders thrill to hear gruesome historic facts and eerie local legends. Real haunted houses are pointed out and their dark secrets revealed. Hear stories of an especially nasty hanging, a murder that caused Fort Smithians to lock their doors, a bloody love triangle and Miss Annie Amos, who is still with us today! The narrative is as colorful as Fort Smith's past. Meet a variety of characters who make the stories come to life! Proceeds from the Progressive Dinner Tours benefit the Fort Smith Museum of History, The Bonneville House and The Clayton House. Proceeds from the regular tours benefit the Fort Smith Museum of History. The popular Murder and Mayhem Haunted Trolley Tour features haunted and gruesome stories from years past. The dinner is available October 26 and 29 at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $100 per person for 21 and over. Regular tours are available October 25, 27 and 31 at 5:30 and 7:30 pm.
