Summer STEM

LION Imagination
Who: Students entering grades 5-6 and 7-8
What: Students will explore areas of applied technology, engineering and science through exciting, hands-on projects. Fee is $40, which includes a T-shirt, project materials and snacks. The camp is sponsored by the College of Applied Science and Technology and the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at UAFS, in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
When:
Grades 5-6: 8:30-11:30 a.m. July 10-14;
Grades 7-8: 1:30-4:30 p.m. July 10-14

Regional Workforce Grant Camp
Who: Incoming high school students participating in UAFS’s Regional Workforce Grant Program
What: Students will design a project while learning mechanical and industrial engineering principles utilizing industry software. The camp is free and includes a T-shirt, project materials and lunch.
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 1-2
