What: Situated in Ben Geren Regional Park, Parrot Island offers a wave pool, water slides, a lazy river, activity pool and more. Admission is $15 for those over 48 inches and $10 under 48 inches. Children 3 years and younger are free. Season passes are available. Parrot Island also has special hours for toddlers, evenings for teens and many discount days and opportunities.

Tiny Tot Time
Tiny guests age 5 and under
What: Tiny Turtle Island is open exclusively for the little ones and parents. Admission is $5; free for parents.

Who: All ages
What: An evening for the family with Waves of Fun and Wild Slides.

What: Value Day Passes offer maximum savings and an entire day of fun. $5-$10.

Who: All ages
What: Located in City Park, the Alma Aquatic Center features six slides, a diving board, climbing wall, and a large swimming pool. The facility also offers a covered wading pool, a shallow “beach” pool, and a water play area. Admission is $2 for children ages three and younger; $5 for ages 4-10; and $10 for ages 11 and up. The Park at West End 

Who: All ages
What: Known for its Ferris wheel from the 1935 Chicago Worl­­d’s Fair, the Park at West End is one of Fort Smith’s most iconic spots. The park offers rides on the Ferris Wheel and its vintage, hand-painted carousel, as well as a covered arcade for youth. Park admission is free; rides are $1.

Creekmore Park Train Rides 

Who: All ages
What: The legendary train at Creekmore Park will operate extended hours through the warm weather months. Rides are free, but donations are accepted.

Popup Play Days 
Fort Smith Parks & Recreation will host special Popup Play Days throughout the summer. Each will be held from 10 a.m. to noon. 

June 7: Activity Hunt at Creekmore Park
June 21: Slip n' Slide Bowling at Martin Luther King  Jr. Park
July 12: Balloon Boat Races at Creekmore Park Pool
July 26: Chalk the Park at Tilles Park

City Play Day
What: Fort Smith Parks & Recreation will offer a variety of activities including an obstacle course, parachute games, inflatable water slide and Zorb balls. Tulsa Life Flight, S.W.A.T., Fort Smith Fire Department, and other groups will also attend. A kiddie pool kickball tournament will take place throughout the day.

Catch n' Release
Fort Smith Parks & Recreation will hold a Catch n’ Release event. Fishing poles and bait will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
