Sports Camps and Activities for Kids
Here are sports camp opportunities for kids in Summer 2018. Register NOW for these limited-enrollment spots! 

1st Serve Tennis Camp

Who:
Ages 5-16
What: The 1st Serve tennis camps introduce beginning tennis players to basic knowledge of the game during three summer camp sessions. Children will have fun while also learning valuable life lessons. Cost for the clinic is $35, which includes instruction and t-shirt. Racquets are available for $15. Additional weeks include instruction only and cost $25. Who: Ages 3 and older
What: First Tee teaches life skills, core values and healthy habits through the game of golf. Class times vary from 30-90 minutes. The cost is $35 per session with a paid membership.
When:
Session I: May 29-June 28
Session II: July 10-Aug. 9
Tuesday-Thursday at varying times 
Where: First Tee of Fort Smith, 6100 Golf Course Loop, Fort Smith­, Ark.

Little Lions Volleyball Skills Camp
Who:
Boys & Girls grades K -7 
What: The camp is for younger players looking to improve their overall volleyball skills. Players will be grouped by talent level and will be given age-appropriate instruction by current UAFS coaches and players. Fee is $100 and includes T-shirt.
Where:  UAFS Stubblefield Center, 532 North Waldron Road, Fort Smith, Ark. 
When: June 11-13, 9 a.m.-noon

Volleyball Elite Camp
Who:
Boys and girls grades 8-12
What: The camp will challenge players in all aspects of the game by focusing on the fundamentals of passing, serving, setting, blocking, attacking, and defense. Campers will be grouped with players of similar skill level and age range. Athletes will participate in a variety of 6-on-6 drills and will get a lot of touches throughout the camps. Fee is $180 for residents and $150 for commuters. Cost includes T-shirt. 
When: June 13-15 Schedule will be distributed at registration. 

UAFS Baseball Camps

Baseball Youth Summer Camp June 25-27
Who:
Ages 6-14
What: Three-day summer baseball camp focuses on all aspects of the game, including throwing, hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running. The camp will be instructed by Former and Current College Baseball Players including the UAFS Coaching Staff. Days will include group instruction and competitive drills. At the end of each day there will be various prizes and drawings. Camp will conclude Thursday with games for all campers. Cost is $80. Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a bat, glove, batting gloves, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete.

Basketball Skills Camp
Who:
Boys entering grades K-8
What: Skills Camp will focus on the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, defense and rebounding. Utilizing the UAFS basketball facilities, campers will have a full week of skill development, exercise and fun. Cost is $100 for each session. 
When:
June 4-6, 9 a.m.-noon
July 16-18, 9 a.m.-noon

Basketball Shooting Camp
Who:
Boys grades 1-12
What: Shooting Camp teaches shooting fundamentals, action drills and the mechanics of shooting. Cost of the one-day camp is $40. 
When: June 7 and July 19, 9 a.m.-noon

Elite Camp
Who:
Boys entering grades 7-12
What: Elite Camp will help maximize participants’ skills while they compete against other players. It is designed for student athletes entering grades 7-12 and student-athletes who have completed their eligibility, but who have not attended a tryout session at UAFS. UAFS players will be present throughout camp. Overnight camper fee is $90, commuter fee is $60. August one-day camp is $40.  Fees include cost of T-shirt. 
When: 
Grades 7-12: June 17, 6-8:30 p.m.
June 18, 9-11 a.m.
Grades 10-12: Aug. 5, Noon-4 p.m.

UAFS players will be present throughout camp. Cost is $50 and includes cost of T-shirt. 
When: June 23, 1-4 p.m.
