The unique photography of Alex Ojeda will be on display in the community room at the Main Library during the months of January and February. A native of Guanajuato, Mexico, Alex Ojeda has called the River Valley home for nearly two decades. His journey into photography began in 2001, first using a digital camera, then migrating to film, and finally, back to digital. Though his original passion was for black and white imagery, he eventually developed an interest in full-color captures. Most recently, Alex has been dabbling with layering, double exposure and abstract compositions. He is often told that he has a special eye for transforming mundane subject matter into pleasing images. His favorite subjects are architecture and urban landscapes. Alex's images have been featured in Entertainment Fort Smith and Arkansas Living. Alex received awards in both 2009 and 2011 at the Mid-America Photography Symposium in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. His images have also won several social media competitions. You can follow Alex on Instagram at @alexoz.
