Jan 25-Jan 25 Fish Portrait Painting with Artist and Angler Duane Hada

Fish Portrait Painting with Artist and Angler Duane Hada

A great one-day workshop for anyone who would like to turn that “special catch” into a memorable piece of fine art! This will be a fun filled “can’t fail” workshop that you will definitely want to attend.  You’ll create a beautiful original painting of a fish of your choice in the time honored classical sporting art style.  Learn to paint with watercolor or choose acrylic, a more forgiving opaque medium, to achieve brilliant colors through a technique called “glazing” which Duane Hada will demonstrate and teach, to capture the full spectrum of the trout palette! You’ll be so proud and impressed with your masterpiece!!! Mr. Hada has traveled and painted extensively throughout trout country as well as several saltwater destinations and enjoys recording both angling and fish species of the areas. You may have seen his art as trout stamp designs, in wildlife calendars, and trout regulation manuals.  His art adorns banks, AFGC nature centers across the state, famous trout and saltwater lodges, as well as the Governor’s mansion.  He is the illustrator for Ozark Trout Tales, Home Waters, and created the popular 2005 Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation license plate with a White River rainbow trout scene.  To register, call CAE at 479-474-7767.
