Creekmore Express Train Rides May 7-29 Saturday 10 a.m.-4 pm.;  Sunday 1-6 p.m. 

All ages love a ride around Creekmore Park on the Creekmore Express miniature train. Board at the train station in the center of the park. Sit on open benches in the passenger cars to enjoy the fresh air! The engineer will take everyone on a relaxing excursion. The train is running daily, when weather permits.

Ben Geren Trail This trail is maintained by Sebastian County. Begins at Zero Street Trail near Massard Creek. It extends south along Massard Creek intersecting Planters Road Trail and connecting to Landfill Loop, and ends at Massard Road South Trail and Fort Chaffee West Trail. This trail contains 1.8 miles of existing paved trail.

Chad Colley Trail Chad Colley Boulevard Trail follows the new section of the road from the south end of Massard Road to the Steep Hill Road and Rye Hill Road east intersection near Riley Farm subdivision. This trail is 1.75 miles long.

Chaffee Crossing Trail System This is a joint project with the Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority for the construction of an approximate 7.1-mile trail system. 

Greg Smith River Trail A multi-use trail in between the Arkansas River and Riverfront Drive. It extends approximately 6.3 miles and is lighted. The trail begins at the River Park Events Building and ties into Fort Smith Park. Art installations, a bridge and river views are features. 

Massard Road Trail Begins at Jackson Street near Phoenix Avenue and the bikeway on Massard and extends south to Zero Street Trail and Massard Road South Trail. This trail contains 1.4 miles of paved trail. This trail is at the east end of airport property and passes by the former Fort Smith Dog Park. Continue south on Massard on the extra wide sidewalk on the east side of the road and join the Chad Colley Walking Trail at the southern most end of Massard Road. The Ben Geren Trail also intersects this section of Massard Road.

Mill Creek Trail Approximately 0.6 miles of gravel trail runs along a portion of Mill Creek. Begins off Jenny Lind Road behind Sutherlands and extends northwest along the creek connect-ing into Phoenix near Jack’s Skateland.

Ronnie Udouj Walking Trail This trail is maintained by the Utilities Department. It is approximately 1.5 miles and there are multiple trail spurs that allow users to shorten the path. A portion of the trail is paved, while the rest is gravel. It features a pedestrian bridge that crosses over the Sunnymede Creek.

City parks such as Creekmore and Carol Ann Cross Park also have walking trails.
