 The Monster Hunters

The Center For Art & Education is taking registration for The Monster Hunters, a short comedy by Joshua Mikel for the children's theatre program. It's a typical afternoon in Bumblewood when the weekly meeting of the Monster Hunter's Club (whose members have never caught, seen, or even tried to hunt a monster) is interrupted by a troublesome announcement: a real, live monster has been sighted in a nearby cemetery. The mismatched friends anxiously set out on their first hunt ever, only to find that they have been duped by the Secret Society of Girls Who Like to Make Bracelets Club. Find out if the Monster Hunters will catch the monster and have the last laugh in the end! The production is open to ages second through eighth grade. Rehearsals will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 7-Mar. 12. Show dates are 7 p.m.  Mar. 13 and 2 p.m. Mar. 14 at 2:00 pm at the King Opera House. Register by phone.
